Praise the Lord!

We rejoice with our dear friends Matt and Nadine, as they welcomed their healthy baby girl Charlotte May into the world. She was born this past Saturday and is now at home with her loving parents. We are so excited for them and wish we could be there to celebrate with them. We love you guys!

Adventures with Gramma Kay

Gramma Kay was just out here for a week and we decided to get out and explore St. Louis. We visited the Botanical Gardens one day which was a lot of fun. We spent a couple of hours there strolling the beautiful grounds, feeding fish and ducks and enjoying each other's company. We also went to the Butterfly House and Trev was able to join us for that adventure. It is a big greenhouse-like building that is about 80 degrees inside and filled with over 1,200 butterflies! They are free to fly around so they fly right by your head and sometimes even land on you. One landed on my camera and a few landed on my mom's head! Haha! Above is a picture I took of one of the most beautiful butterfies I saw there. It appears cloudy because it was so humid when we first walked in that it fogged up the camera lens. However, it makes it look kind of artsy so I don't mind. We all had a great time looking at all the butterflies and look forward to visiting there again.

Be sure to check out other pictures we have taken recently on our Flickr site. There is a link to the site on the right.

Fun at the zoo!

On Monday Gramma Kay, Belle and I went to the St. Louis Zoo. It was a great day to go to the zoo! Even though it was a little chilly, the sun was shining and almost al of the animals were out and about. We saw monkeys, tigers, cheetahs, elephants, penguins, bears, and so much more!

We even watched the sea lions being fed. It's pretty funny actually. All of the sea lions have their special spots and they wait there until the zookeeper throws a fish to them. This one is just about to catch his first fish.

Hangin' out with Gramma Kay

Out shopping with Gramma Kay. This is the first time Belle sat upright in her stroller instead of being buckled in her car seat.

Gramma Kay feeding Belle a bottle. Usually Belle is not at all interested in drinking from a bottle, but we tried a different kind of bottle and she was having fun with it. She would lift it to her mouth for a few seconds, take a little sip, then bring it back down and just look at the bottle, then repeated the same actions. What a cute little goober!

Mom's shirt matches my food!

Belle's New Toy

While Gramma Kay was visiting she bought Belle a new exersaucer! Annabelle absolutely loves it! She can turn herself around in it and loves playing with all the toys.
Thanks Gramma Kay!

I think this face is so cute!

Fun Surprise!

We got a surprise visit from my Uncle Denny and Aunt Cathy this past weekend. They are driving west across the country back to their home state of Washington and made a stop here in St. Louis to say hello to us. We walked around and under the Arch on Sunday afternoon, enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and dessert then headed home for the evening. Thanks for the visit you two! We miss you!

Granny Jane's Visit!

Granny Jane came for a visit a little over a week ago. We all had so much fun together! One of our adventures was going on a tour through the Meramec Caves a little over an hour away from where we live. We saw tons of stalagmites and stalactites, as well as a poster of Lassie in the cave, which we thought was an odd site. Apparently an episode of Lassie had been filmed in the caves. "What girl? Timmy's in the cave?!"

We also went on numerous walks and ate delicious meals aplenty! On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed the sights and beautiful weather at Forest Park. We were so happy that Granny Jane could visit us. Belle had a wonderful time with her Granny of course. They made faces at each other, laughed back and forth, and played together all the day long. Granny Jane, we can't wait for your next visit!
